Wireless Adapter Keeps Disappearing
I ve even changed motherboards and had the same problem with the second board and multiple ngff wifi adapters from intel and qualcomm the one that came with the laptop still have this issue i cannot figure out why this is still happening.
Wireless adapter keeps disappearing. Disappearing wireless adapter i m still having this problem and it hasn t gone away for the last 6 months. The strange thing is every now and again the atheros ar956x wireless network adapter driver will reappear taking its place among the network adapters in the device manager but this is very rare and when it does it does not stay for long. The device manager keeps telling me that the device does not exist or there are no drivers for the device. The events section shows that the wireless adapter i have at the moment was downloaded in 2018 but not properly installed.
You can try one or all the methods to fix the wifi not working or wireless adapter not showing up in device manager on windows 10 windows 8 1 windows 8 windows 7 windows xp and windows vista. The network adapter being used on my laptop is the realtek rtl8723be 802 11b g n. There are 2 options that i am listing to help. However i cannot confirm this.
My laptop is an msi the operating system is windows 10 and it s encountering a problem with the network driver the intel dual band ac3165 is not working properly the device keeps disappearing and reappearing in my device manager and it s connecting to the internet for 1 minute every restart then the driver disappears from my device manager and disrupts the connection until i restart it. The internet connection suddenly went out and the troubleshooter diagnosed it was a network adapter related problem. Open device manager open the drop down network adpaters right click network adapters select scan for hardware changes if you can t see your wireless adapter go to step 11 if you can see it right click on the adapter. I uninstalled the driver for the adapter downloaded a newer more updated driver from a separate computer then reinstalled it onto the affected laptop.
